The Client
A global insurance brokerage with annual revenues exceeding $10 billion. Their 50,000 employees provide analysis, advice, and related capabilities to clients in over 100 countries. Primary services areas are investment and risk management, commercial insurance, as well as a large consulting services division.
The Engagement
Over the course of a five-month engagement, Encode upgraded security for several BEA WebLogic based online systems using IBM Tivoli Access Management (TAM). The applications are used by both internal and external users.
Critical Services Delivered
Encode integrated WebLogic with TAM, configured LDAP for peer-to-peer use and single sign-on service. Encode worked on the load balancing for the systems and led the testing efforts. Encode also helped define disaster recovery, replication testing, Lotus iNotes and back-up procedures.
Additionally, Encode mentored, trained, and provided documentation to client staff to help them fully understanding TAM's capabilities.
