4/3/07: Encode Wins IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Award for Best Service Management Technology Tivoli Solution.
Encode has been named winner of the "Best Service Management Technology Tivoli Solution" award in the annual IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Awards competition, recognizing IBM Business Partners for their ingenuity, innovation, customer satisfaction and outstanding achievements in providing on demand business solutions.
When UNNICO, a best-in-class facilities maintenance service organization, needed to streamline the management of user identities to optimize efficiency and strengthen security, they turned to Encode and its Tivoli Identity Manager Express solution. Encode's solution reduced the time required to provision new users and strengthened governance processes.
The identity management solution leverages IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator and IBM Tivoli Identity Manager Express 4.6 while the portal solution is powered by Tivoli Access Manager for e-business, IBM Tivoli Directory Server, DB2, Websphere Portal, Lotus Notes and Domino, QuickPlace and Sametime.
UNICCO now manages an increasing number of users with fewer resources by establishing a central point to administer user rights. Tivoli Identity Manager Express helps automate the user provisioning process and de-provisioning process, delivers enhanced security, addresses compliance needs, increases user and IT efficiency and helps reduce IT administration costs. With this solution, Encode helped UNICCO improve productivity, enhance its end user experience, increase security and free up IT staff to focus on more strategic initiatives.
